I confess to being a snob. A ZUNI fetish snob. For years I wouldn't even entertain the idea of buying a Navajo fetish. Until, one day, at an Indian Market festival held in Dallas I was drawn, inexplicably, to this bear and an orange alabaster buffalo. This bear had a familiar feel to it, reminiscent of Lynn Quam's soft curves and absence of detail. Then I remembered that Jayne Quam, Lynn's wife is Navajo. It seemed there was no reason at all not to bring this handsome bear home.

He's a big boy, over 5" long and exquisitely simple in form, but oh-so-powerful in presence. Don't be a Zuni fetish snob, go ahead give in to your better judgement .. :)
