When we fell in love with Zuni, we wanted to incorporate other Native American art in the decor of our home. And, while we loved the beautiful Navajo rugs we saw in our travels .. they were well beyond our budget. I distinctly remember the first rug I looked at at Hubbells's Trading Post in Ganado. It was about 24"x 36" and it was over $7000. in 1997! That was not going to happen! After all, we had FETISHES to buy!

So, we looked for smaller rugs to frame and add to our decor. This rug is more finely woven and refined in appearance and weight that the other rug (22093) in this listing. The dimensions are slightly larger and the colors are true red and navy blue, cream color & black. We are not rug dealers so we can't tell you much about the style or type of rug except to say that we have owned it for about 25 years and it was framed under glass all that time. There is no sign of fading, but there is a slight flaw which appears to be in the weaving,rather than damage by puncture or insect predation. We have priced it according to similarly sized rugs we found online. Sales are final, so please ask questions prior to purchase.
